Overview
Post-operative rehabilitation at YOS is individualised, progressive, and evidence-based. Our multidisciplinary team — physiotherapists, sports medicine doctors and strength & conditioning specialists — collaborates with your orthopaedic surgeon to design a phased recovery plan that targets pain control, swelling reduction, early mobility, progressive strengthening and functional retraining.
What We Treat
- ACL and knee ligament reconstruction
- Meniscus or cartilage repair
- Shoulder surgeries (rotator cuff, stabilisation, decompression)
- Hip and knee replacements
- Spine surgeries and discectomies
- Foot and ankle operations (Achilles repair, ankle stabilisation)
- Elbow and wrist surgeries (tennis elbow release, carpal tunnel)
Our Approach
Every recovery journey at YOS is individualised and multidisciplinary, combining clinical precision with advanced rehabilitation techniques. We focus on early-phase recovery (pain, swelling, mobility), progressive strengthening and balance work, functional training for daily movement, and phased return-to-activity plans supervised by our physiotherapists and sports medicine doctors. When required, diagnostic ultrasound is used to monitor healing and guide treatment decisions.
- Immediate post-op: pain & swelling control, mobility & gait training
- Mid-phase: progressive strength, range-of-motion and neuromuscular control
- Late-phase: sport/work-specific conditioning, return-to-activity testing
Diagnostics & Techniques
We integrate diagnostic ultrasound, hands-on therapy, image-guided procedures where appropriate, and structured exercise prescription to ensure safe tissue loading and measurable progress. Rehabilitation progress is measured using functional outcome scales and clinician-led milestones to ensure a safe return to daily activities or sport.
Outcomes We Focus On
- Restore pain-free range of motion
- Rebuild muscle strength, endurance and power
- Recover normal gait and movement patterns
- Safe return to work, sport and daily activities
